POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Sandblasting Operator, you will be responsible for preparing tank surfaces prior to painting by using sandblasting techniques to ensure quality and durability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and interpret instructions, drawings, or production orders before starting work
• Perform sandblasting on metal surfaces to remove rust, old paint, and other impurities
• Mask or protect areas that should not be sandblasted
• Complete product inspection documentation (baptismal records)
• Maintain and service sandblasting equipment
• Strictly follow safety procedures, environmental regulations, and applicable technical standards
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure coordinated work and meet deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; follow safety rules and properly handle hazardous materials and waste
• Perform other related tasks associated with product coating

PROFILE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• One year of sandblasting experience is an asset but not required
• Good knowledge of metal sandblasting techniques is an asset
• Team player with a professional attitude
• Willingness to work day and night shifts
• Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
• Candidate must reside in Canada and be legally authorized to work
