Millwright Supervisor
Main Function
Under the supervision of the Operations Director, the Maintenance Supervisor plans, coordinates, and oversees maintenance activities to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of the company’s equipment and facilities, thereby supporting daily production operations.
Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic failures and coordinate necessary repairs.
- Repair or replace damaged components (bearings, belts, valves, etc.).
- Maintain machine tools, conveyors, compressors, and other equipment.
- Complete maintenance logs and intervention reports.
- Keep spare parts inventory up to date and document recurring breakdowns for analysis.
- Respond quickly to service calls from production.
- Provide technical support to operators and train staff on safe equipment operation.
- Participate in the installation, relocation, or commissioning of equipment.
- Strictly apply occupational health and safety standards and report any irregularities.
- Verify that repaired equipment is safe before returning to service.
- Suggest technical improvements to reduce unplanned downtime and optimize existing equipment.
- Take part in modernization, automation, or production optimization projects.
Required Qualities:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills to coordinate and motivate maintenance staff.
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, and industrial automation.
- Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex equipment problems.
- Strong organizational and planning skills to coordinate interventions and task follow-up.
- Safety-oriented mindset and strict adherence to workplace health and safety standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively with operators, production teams, and management.
- Analytical thinking and ability to propose improvements to optimize equipment and reduce downtime.
Requirements:
- Technical diploma in mechanics, electromechanics, automation, or equivalent experience in industrial maintenance.
- Experience in team supervision and maintenance activity coordination.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation systems.
- Proficiency in occupational health and safety standards and ability to manage risks.

Status: Full-time, fixed-term position, available immediately
Salary: Starting at $68,640 annually, depending on experience
Benefits: 50% paid by the employer after 3 months
