Millwright
Job Overview:
We are looking for a qualified Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment. You will work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities :
- Install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment
- Manage the preventative maintenance program
- Perform welding tasks for the manufacture and repair of parts
- Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work performed.
- Perform mechanical work, including dismantling, assembling, and adjusting machines
- Perform electrical and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) work as required
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams
- Analyze technical problems and propose appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure site safety and productivity
Experience required:
- Previous experience as a Millwright or in a similar field
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles
- Welding skills for the manufacture and repair of metal parts
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) and French (spoken and written)
- Experience as an industrial electrician is a plus
